Peterson should probably hit the curler here. Elects to dribble into a handoff instead; great pursuit by Burries to force the TO.

Not sure about this shot from Peterson. Could probably be a bit more patient creating here.

6:05
Good defense by Burries to stick with Peterson. Again I think DP might be a bit more patient here.

8:46
More of Burries rampaging in transition.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
10:32
In spite of his strength finishing in transition I think I'd like to see Burries hit ahead here.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
12:13
Poor playmaking process from Peterson, no need for a contested 20-footer here. Ridiculous rebound by Burries.

Excellent transition D from Burries, then another monster rebound.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
13:40
Burries just doesn't even see NCAA-level defenders in transition. Will be interesting to watch whether this holds up in the NBA.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
20:42
Not that he does anything wrong here, but DP doesn't quite look like a point guard.
@oakcask
Darryn Peterson
22:10
Again, not really a criticism; DP is an outrageously gifted scorer so it makes sense to look for his shot. But it bears noting that he doesn't really run the offense for Kansas.

Crazy defensive play here by Peterson. His effort level is so good on that end for a superstar.
@oakcask
Darryn Peterson
25:07
Another awesome contest with multiple efforts from Peterson.
@oakcask
Darryn Peterson
29:32
Burries juts in to stop ball, stunts to prevent the dump off then grabs yet another monster rebound. What a great defensive player.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
30:26
Not a ton of craft here, just straight bully ball. I mean that as a compliment, will translate well to the NBA I think.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
32:46
You don't see it too often, but once in a while you do get glimpses of lead guard play from Burries.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
33:43
Watch Burries all the way on this play. He has no business getting this rebound but he's always around the ball.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
37:18
Nice creation sequence for Burries.

Don't love this shot from Peterson - misses his teammate open in the corner.

LOVE this transition D from Burries. Draymond-esque. Plays it perfectly.
@oakcask
Brayden Burries
46:28
Don't love the shot for DP with 20+ on the shot clock, but the effort level is so high getting the second attempt.
@oakcask
Darryn Peterson
49:20
This is what Burries has to work on if he wants to become a lead guard at the next level. Compared to Acuff, Philon etc. he's just not as composed making plays in traffic.

Brayden Burries
50:02
Great pass here by DP. His vision and skill as a passer are unquestionable, it's a matter of mentality, IMO.
@oakcask
Darryn Peterson
52:12
Another very nice pass by DP.

Another nice lead guard possession for Burries. He definitely has some juice here. He uses screens well.
